Who’s it for?
The Bodybuilding category is for natural bodybuilders who are well developed in both muscle and mass. Competitors should display a muscular body with excellent balance among all muscle groups. Athletes are to be lean, muscular and muscle separation is to be visible and defined. Body fat is to be minimal and Abs are to be developed and expected. Hard conditioning is allowed and competitors should be hard, dry and striated.
*This class is open to all competitors of all ages, male only, open level (min age is 16 years).

The required Look
The look required is a defined, well-developed muscular body with balance among muscle groups, good posture, proper posing and outstanding stage presence.

What Judges are looking for:
* A muscular and defined physique with a well balanced upper and lower body.
* Low body fat, muscle separation and visible abs.
* Athletes body should be hard, dry and striated.
* Athletes with an evenly tan and good stage presence.

You will be marked on:
* Symmetry & posture.
* Posing & stage presence.
* Muscle hardness, definition, muscle mass & striation.
* The ability to perform Quarter turns & 5 mandatory poses correctly.
* Evenly applied tan.
* Appearance & overall physique.

1st round - Judging: Quarter turns & 7 Mandatory Poses (100%)

Athletes will walk on stage in a group to the middle of the stage and will perform quarter turns for the Judges. Athletes must wear their professional posing pants or they will be marked down. selected athletes will be compared to each other in a smaller group of 3-4 for placing by the judges.

7 mandatory poses:
* Front Double Biceps
* Rear Double Biceps
* Side Chest
* Side Triceps
* Front Lat Spread
* Rear Lat Spread
* Abdominal & Thigh
Athletes must wear professional bodybuilding trunks in this round. No boxers, Speedos or shorts are allowed in this round. Marks will be deducted if athletes are not wearing professional posing trunks (see photo below).

Judging:
* Judges are looking for creative routines with smooth transitions and good choreography.
* Interesting and eye catching theme wear.
* Facial expressions (smiling is great), confidence and connecting with the audience.

There will be many photographers from fitness magazines and TV crew filming while you’re on stage, so please remember to always smile!

TANS
Dream Tan is BANNED from all Miami Pro shows. Any athletes seen making a mess with tans and marking the venue’s property will be disqualified without a refund.
Be careful with all tans and make sure that you do not get any tans on the venue’s seats, carpets or walls.

After the Quarter turns athletes will be asked to do 7 mandatory poses in a group, selected athletes will be compared to each other in a smaller group of 3-4 for placing by the judges. Competitors should be tight from head to toe and posing should look effortless while maintaining stage presence. The Judges will be watching and marking you all the time. (Men are to be bare foot). There will be a 1 minute pose down to music to flex and show-off your muscles!
